The reporter learned from the 31st in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, the cross-border e-commerce comprehensive trial zone site meeting was informed that in recent years, China's cross-border e-commerce entities have exceeded 100,000, the construction of independent stations over 200,000, about 690 cross-border e-commerce industrial park in the comprehensive trial zone, cross-border e-commerce goods import and export scale accounted for less than 1% of foreign trade from 5 years ago to the current 5% or so.


  The one-and-a-half-day conference also released the assessment and evaluation results of the 2022 cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone.


  Promoting the construction of comprehensive pilot zones for cross-border e-commerce is a major decision made by the Party Central Committee and the State Council, aiming to give full play to the positive role of cross-border e-commerce to help the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and promote the digital development of industries.

Since the establishment of the first cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone in Hangzhou in 2015, the State Council has set up 165 comprehensive pilot zones in seven batches covering 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities by the end of 2022.


  China's cross-border e-commerce trade partners are all over the world, and it has signed bilateral e-commerce cooperation memoranda with 29 countries. Wang Shouwen, international trade negotiator and vice minister of the Ministry of Commerce, who attended the meeting, said that China's cross-border e-commerce is developing fast, with high market potential and strong driving force, which can match supply and demand at low cost and high efficiency, and provide personalized quality services for more enterprises and end consumers.


  It is reported that the Ministry of Commerce in conjunction with relevant departments, in the system, management and services continue to innovate, issued a series of policy measures to create a good environment for the development of cross-border e-commerce. The pilot zones continue to promote the construction of "six systems and two platforms", vigorously cultivate market players, and gradually improve the ecology of cross-border e-commerce, leading to the optimization and upgrading of local industries, and has achieved positive results.
